Got these for my husband, he loves the Sliver XL style and was so upset when Oakley quit making them. He’s 6’4 about 275 lbs so he’s a big guy and EXTREMELY picky! He likes what he likes and is also a police officer and wants his sunglasses full mirror so his eyes are not seen at all even when not at work and these do that for him. I don't see where the negative feedback comes from. These things are awesome. The lenses are fine and very clear. It says "Made in USA" on it and comes in real Oakley packaging. The frame is of course, plastic but very sturdy. They don't make this "screech" noise when you open them like the bad reviews say. Not with mine, anyway. They make a noise but it's a smooth, very quiet pop noise; that's just what it's supposed to do. They do fit better with people that have a slim face shape like mine, though. If you have a big pudgy face then it may be a little tight. They're just the right fit for me and stay in place when I rest them on my head during indoor activities. From what I can see, you're getting what you paid for. Don't listen to the bad reviews, they are probably weirdos who are spoiled, or are very rough with shades instead of treating them as a fragile item like you're supposed to. I recommend these.
